Ottica Cecchini, 2022

Located in Pesaro, Ottica Cecchini is a contemporary redesign of an existing space originally conceived in 2008 by my father. The project preserves key elements of the previous design, such as the white furniture, while introducing striking new features that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Smoked glass pivot panels serve as both display windows and interior shelving, creating a dynamic interplay between transparency and structure. A tubular bench upholstered in technical fabric adds a tactile element to the space, while the central pillar is transformed into a floor-to-ceiling illuminated display. The back counter, finished in orange lacquer, acts as a bold focal point. A comprehensive lighting overhaul ensures uniform brightness throughout, reinforcing the store’s contemporary and inviting atmosphere.
